LinkIQ™ measures cable lengths up to 1000 ft (305 m) and provides distance to faults such as opens, shorts and unterminated cables.

The included MS-IE remote adapter finds miswires and split pairs on RJ45, M12X, M12D and M8D terminated cables.

LinkIQ™ supports EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT and other Industrial Ethernet networks and can prove that cabling bandwidth for 10BASE-T to 10GBASE-T (10 Mb/s to 10 Gb/s) is adequate, provides diagnostic information of the nearest switch (including nominal data rate, switch name, port number and VLAN information), as well as PoE testing up to Class 8 (90W) and load testing.
