The 17B MAX is the upgraded replacement model for the 17B+, and the original 17B+ has been discontinued. The new multimeter has upgraded the following six major functions:
• Newly added: audible and visual alarm for misoperation to prevent fuse burnout
• Newly added: Standard configuration of two pairs of test leads (common type & extra-pointed type) for wider application scenarios (KIT version)
• Newly added: Wake up by any key press to improve testing efficiency
• Newly added: Voltage reading upgraded to 6000 counts
• Newly added: Capacitance range upgraded to 2mF
• Newly added: Louder buzzer sound
